KGM Motors UK is delighted to announce the continued support of local charity, STEP Swindon, this Easter. STEP is a registered charity, providing a safe environment for children and young people aged between 7 and 18 years, who experience isolation and exclusion due to a lack of social skills, personal circumstances, or poverty, living in Swindon and the wider community.
Laura Jenkins, HR Manager at KGM Motors UK, said; “STEP Swindon does vital work in the community to provide a safe and positive environment for young people. It is our privilege to make Easter a little more special for them this year with our colleagues generously donating over 50 Easter eggs. We hope the children enjoy them and have a fun Easter.”
STEP Swindon is a group therapy program aimed at young people with mild to moderate needs and aims to help them develop life and social skills, such as assertiveness, anger management, communication, and teamwork. The program offers various projects based on the interests of participants and promotes a climate of trust and confidentiality.
Johanna Bryant, Project Director at STEP Swindon, said; “We are thrilled to accept KGM’s generous donation of Easter eggs for the children, which will undoubtedly bring them lots of joy over the holidays. Our charity works with children who are among the most vulnerable in our community, so to be able to provide a treat like this to so many children will make a huge difference. We want to thank KGM UK once again for their continued support.”
