There’s only three weeks left until entries close for the 2024 Newspress Awards, the industry’s annual recognition of excellence in automotive journalism and PR.

Journalists, editors, photographers and videographers can submit their own work for consideration in one of 21 categories via the Newspress Awards website: newspressuk.com/awards. Entries will be accepted until 11:59pm on April 30, 2024.

Contenders can enter as many categories as they wish, but with only one entry per category. Staffers and freelancers are equally welcome to apply, and all entries will be judged on merit by an independent panel of experts.

The awards for Press Office of the Year, PR of the Year and PR Rising Star are on a vote-only basis, and Newspress-registered journalists are invited to cast their votes for their favourite PRs and PR team.

With quite a few closely contested categories, it’s still all to play for. We’d particularly welcome more entries for CV Writer and Automotive Photographer categories.

Anyone wishing to put forward candidates for the Lifetime Achievement Award are welcome to do so and can submit supporting information via the online entry form.

The winners will be announced in the first week of June.

This marks the eighth year of the Newspress Awards’ celebration of the best and the brightest within the automotive industry.
